Another tune off the Blow By Blow album, Thelonius. I'm assuming it was named for Thelonious Monk, but they mis-spelled it! This tune, like all on the album features the exceptionally funky and tasty drumming of 18 year old, Richard Bailey. It also features the incredible Clavinet playing of Stevie Wonder, who also wrote the song!

What does the drum intro (after the hihat thing) remind you of?

I'm using a mid 60's 5x14 chrome over brass supraphonic here, and Paiste 2000 Sound Reflections crashes and hihats. Vintage 2002 24 ride and 20 inch China.
