When I wrote “The Way We Loved” in April, I debated between calling it “The Way We Loved” and “A New Beginning”. The song captures the essence of a fresh start and the emergence of a new energy as you let go of the past. John Pattern’s remix beautifully embodies this energy, particularly in the line, "a new beginning", repeated throughout. John approached me after the release of METAMORPHS, expressing interest in remixing. Although METAMORPHS was already finished, I was captivated by John's music, especially his album 'Ecstatic' from last year, a personal favorite and was excited to work with him on my next song. We decided to make a video featuring John, myself and my nephew Archie, a talented contemporary dancer with Ballet Rambert in the UK.

We hope you enjoy this shamanic and energetic remix, designed to move your body and your emotions in a unique way compared to the original.
