AAaaah it’s finally done…

I started this project almost exactly a month ago on October 25. Compared to my other projects it was actually fairly quick haha
Im fairly happy with the anatomy & composition in this for the most part.. just dont look at certain scenes…

Story:

This is a scene from a novel I’ve been working on for over four years now. It follows the life of Saphira (spiky haired girl holding up the guy in the background), the main character, as she navigates her new life as a shapeshifter, and one of the queen’s top ranking mercenaries. This scene occurs towards the end of the story. Saphira, her teammate Haden, (injured guy with curly hair) and Arlen (dark haired man with a scar) have just escaped prison. They had been sentenced to death by the Dawn, (the party who took over after the queen was killed and the people rebelled) for their crimes as Potents (term for the queen’s mercenaries). Immediately after escaping, Arlen runs to his old house where his daughter lives with his wife, whom he split up with due to her abuse. He is scared of what he might find- his ex-wife is a noble- and is therefore hated by the Dawn. He finds his four year old daughter named Hannah alive, and finds that his wife is gone. His daughter barely recognizes him- it has been years since they’ve seen each other. When Hannah does recognize him she is fearful because her mother has fed her countless lies about Arlen. Nonetheless, Arlen hugs his daughter tightly, and then brings his team- which are basically his family now- into the embrace.

Hopefully that made sense..
There are a ton of aspects to this story. I’ll answer any and all questions if anyone is curious!!!
