R L Burnside never got the recognition he deserved during his lifetime; he was a great bluesman in the Mississippi tradition but it was in the 1990s, 15 years before his death, he found a whole new audience performing his unique electric blues sound(largely achieved by playing cheap Guyatone and Harmony type guitars) with garage bands of the era. Get hold of a copy of the 'Let's Move' compilation CD if you can.
