The soundtrack created by John Williams for the 1978 Superman movie is one of the greatest musical compositions of all time, and I can say that it is the greatest soundtrack for a superhero movie. The theme for Superman is pure heroism at its core, simply nothing in this universe can top what the master John Williams has done in a superhero movie.
My favorite theme from the first movie is Planet Krypton, which is the theme I want to honor in this video today. The main theme is wonderful, epic, powerful and befitting the grandeur of Superman's home planet. There are also small thematic variations on this planet. I hope you like the video, this one was special for me.
