In 2022 the Cologne Male Voice Choir performed a concert featuring works created by Franz Schubert, Ludwig van Beethoven, Hector Berlioz, Jacques Offenbach and other composers, celebrating Franz Schubert's 225th birthday.
The Hunters' Chorus from Carl Maria von Weber's "Der Freischütz" is a beloved classic, and part of many German Male Voice Choruses. Is has been part of the Cologne MVC's repertoire for decades, and it is one of the most popular songs at many of the choir's sold-out concerts.
