Here's a how-to breakdown for James McMurtry's Canola Fields, from his 2021 release The Horses And The Hounds. I've had about half a dozen requests for this, but struggled to figure it out for some while. As always, hope it helps those looking to learn the song.

I know this is very long, but it is the most challenging James song I've tackled of the 70 or so I have learned, not because the chords are difficult, but because the subtle differences in the sequence of changes are very easy to mix up.
